  1. 250 grams vermicelli.

  2. 3 tablespoons peanut oil.

  3. 2 tablespoons ginger, diced and crushed

  4. 2 tablespoons garlic, diced and crushed.

  5. Diced Onion

  6. 400 grams chicken/beef or mamoe thigh, diced.

  7. 2/3 cup soy sauce.

  8. 1 tablespoon sugar.

  9. Ground Pepper.


  1. Soak vermicelli for 10-15 minutes in boiling water, then drain the noodles. Hold onto about 1 cup of the liquid. Cut the vermicelli smaller with scissors.

  2. Heat oil in pot, add ginger, onion and garlic, when lightly browned add meat and cook until lightly seared.

  3. Add vermicelli, and stir fry quickly.

  4. Add soy sauce, sugar and pepper, and stir to combine. Add some of the liquid drained from the vermicelli if the sapasui is a bit dry.

  5. Serve with rice, taro cooked in coconut cream or just by itself.
